- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Optional: 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (for heat)
How to make:
- Pat the pork shoulder dry with paper towels. Rub the meat all over with the brown sugar, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
