  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cupcakes cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. In a medium bowl, beat the butter until smooth.
  10. Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating on low speed until combined.
  11. Add the milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Beat on high speed until the frosting is light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
