On September 26 we celebrate National Dumplings Day, dumplings are my favourites also dumplings are liked by all age groups people, it come in different tastes, shapes and varieties, whether you prefer Chinese potstickers, Japanese gyoza, Korean mandu, Polish pierogi, or any other delicious type.

Also, it is the second best thing that is liked my everyone however the best things about National Dumpling Day are trying new ones, eating old favourites, or cooking your grandmother’s recipe, inventing your own, or all of the above. If you like Dumplings then this article is for you.

Recipe- Dumpling

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound (250g) ground pork
  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage (Napa or green cabbage works well)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions (scallions)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine or dry sherry (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Dumpling Wrappers:

  • 1 package of store-bought dumpling wrappers or also you can make your own from scratch

For Cooking:

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for pan-frying)
